Senior Quantity Surveyor – General Construction

➡️ JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong contracts and commercial background to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring cost control, risk mitigation, and compliance with contractual obligations.

➡️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪️    Manage and administer construction contracts (FIDIC & bespoke contracts)
▪️    Prepare, review, and negotiate contractual terms, variations, and claims
▪️    Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost forecasting
▪️    Evaluate variations, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts
▪️    Handle subcontract agreements, payment certifications, and disputes
▪️    Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and cost reports
▪️    Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients on commercial matters
▪️    Identify contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies
▪️    Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements

➡️ REQUIREMENTS:
▪️    Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
▪️    7–10 years of experience in construction contracting
▪️    Strong experience in contracts management and commercial administration
▪️    Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts
▪️    Proven experience in claims, variations, and final accounts
▪️    Excellent negotiation and communication skills
▪️    Proficient in MS Excel and commercial reporting
▪️    UAE experience is mandatory
