Planning Manager – General Construction

➡️ JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, and progress control across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.


➡️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪️ Develop and manage baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
▪️ Monitor project progress and prepare weekly & monthly planning reports
▪️️ Lead project planning, scheduling, and progress control activities
▪️️ Analyze schedule delays and prepare Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
▪️️ Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Commercial Teams
▪️️ Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for delays
▪️ Support EOT claims with proper planning analysis and documentation
▪️ Ensure planning compliance with contractual and client requirements
▪️ Oversee manpower, equipment, and resource loading
▪️ Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights to stakeholders

➡️ REQUIREMENTS:
▪️ Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline
▪️ 10+ years of experience in construction planning
▪️ Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (mandatory)
▪️ Solid knowledge of construction methodologies (Civil / MEP / Fit-Out)
▪️ Experience in EOT claims, delay analysis, and recovery schedules
▪️ Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
▪️ UAE experience is mandatory
